Recebemos a notícia de que a Profa. Regina Helena foi agraciada com o importante Prêmio Career Achievement Award pela Society for the History of Psychology que, por sua vez, faz parte da American Psychological Association (APA).

Parabenizamos a Profa. Regina Helena pela conquista. Essa notícia nos alegra e orgulha.

Agradecemos a dedicação e citamos abaixo a correspondência que comunica o Prêmio:

I am writing with the wonderful news that you have been selected as this year’s winner of the Society for the History of Psychology’s Career Achievement Award. The award is given to an individual who has made sustained, outstanding, and unusual contributions to the history of psychology over a career.

We had many excellent nominees for the award this year, but the committee felt strongly about you as the recipient. Here is the official citation that will appear on the list serv:

Regina Helena de Freitas Campos, Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, Brazil.

Dr. Campos’ work on the history of psychology in Brazil has provided an in-depth look at educational psychology, the work of Helena Antipoff, and the roots of laboratory psychology.  The committee also recognizes her leadership in preserving and providing public access to the historical record of psychology in Brazil and contributing significantly to the establishment of history of psychology as a specialty area.

Congratulations on this well-deserved award, Dr. Campos! Thanks for all that you do for the field in Brazil and internationally.

All the best,

Cathy
